Condensvorming
Condensation occurs when water vapor from the air comes into contact with a surface whose temperature is below the dew point. In dormers and lofts, condensation is a common sign of thermal bridges or poor ventilation.

| Type | Where |
|---|---|
| Surface condensation | On visible cold surfaces (glass, cold corner). |
| Interstitial condensation | Inside the construction, not visible; more dangerous because damage is noticed late. |
The solution rarely lies in just wiping it away or dehumidifying, but in the combination of better insulation, a seamless vapor barrier, and sufficient ventilation.
