Isolatie en energie

Dakkapel isolatie

A dormer forms its own small building component that must be insulated on all sides: the front facade, side walls, and roof. An interruption in this envelope leads to heat loss, condensation, and in the worst case, rot.

Three insulation sides

  • Front facade: between the studs of the timber frame.
  • Side walls: between the studs, paying attention to the connection with the tiled roof.
  • Roof: on top of the roof boarding (warm roof) or between the joists.
