PIR isolatie

PIR is a rigid foam insulation material with a very high insulation value per centimetre. It is widely used on flat roofs and for dormers where insulation space is limited.

Properties

  • High insulation value per cm (low lambda).
  • Dimensionally stable, pressure-resistant, suitable under roofing.
  • Supplied in boards with an aluminium or lamination layer.

Because PIR achieves a high R-value (Rc) at limited thickness, it is often the only choice for dormers to meet modern insulation requirements within the available building height.
